PVC cards are now everywhere and every day are more necessary in any company organization, even small. Before to produce nice PVC card where quite difficult due to the big amount to order. Clever uses of cards in membership clubs, such as sports clubs, go well beyond simple access control and membership identification. Loyalty schemes drive attention of existing members and encourage members to refer friends and colleagues. To have a card in the wallet is still something appreciate. Cards used to book facilities and used in different sports and classes unlock a wealth of data on what members want to do and also drive customer communication and advertising programs to be more efficent.

In a normal application of a PVC card, like fidelity cards, discount cards or business card, a normal white PVC card is enough for a good result. It is not so grave if somebody copy it to get the discount, anyway all the printers Magicard has the option to watermark any card. This special watermark is so called Holokote and cannot be scanned or photocopied. The watermark on the PVC card can be seen only in front of the light. If somebody with such an artistic talent will reproduce it, it will always visible and so easily to recognize the fake card. The only fact is that this watermark cannot be personalized, it is standard in the PVC card printer. Who would like to copy your card must use a Magicard PVC card printer only. It is a basic safety level, but it is a good start for discount and fedelity card. Maybe you will get one more smart customer looking for privilege discounts. Many company like supermarket, sporting clubs, restaurants don't even place a watermark or other anti counterfeit system in their cards. Another option of the PVC cards printer is the Holopatch. The same watermark will be visible on a metal corner on the PVC card, so nice! It looks like (but it is not) an hologram.

A very high level of safety and the chance to personalize the watermark is the "Custom key" service. The watermark can be done from you or your art director and the file will be used to produce a "key" to introduce in to the PVC card printer. Only with that key the printer can print that personalized watermark. The key is produced with a sophisticated system in England and the main office alone can provide it. We will follow the procedure and we will delivery it to you. This key cannot be copied out of the main office. Every key comes recorded. If there will be a necessity of an extra key, equal or like to the original one, the trustee of this  watermark key (you!) will be called to authorize the production of another key. The cost of the first key is 15.900,00 baht. The card can be reproduced with the same features only from the person that has free access to the PVC card printer with the key, any other attempt to reproduction of the same watermark will come out like a garish and coarse imitation. If, for example, the watermark is part of the image instead of part of a particular printing process, the watermark will be visible always and not only against the light and it will be possible to reproduce it with a normal scanner!

Software for printing cards PVC

Immediately produce a fidelity card  for your customer or a membership card of your club it is very useful, and it gives prestige to the company. Besides, with our software, you will be also able to introduce the data of the customer in a simple consultable database. Always within the same program you can create the drawing of the card, link a pictures or to take one with a webcam. You can also number the card and produce a database resulting like a .mdb file. The programs (software) are supplied free of charge and are different and with different functions, among which the possibility of introduce a barcode, or print an equal series of cards but with different data, for example, name, surname, photograph. You can also link the cards to an Excel or .csv file in order to avoid manually typing all the details. These software will be explained in a day of training, included in the price of the PVC card printer.

Other anti counterfeit cards solutions

For medium volume of cards needs, at least 5000 pieces, it can be achieve an high level of safety with low cost. The solutions is combine an offset PVC printing that, if enlarged with a 12x lens, will return a specific grain, and also introduce some texts in micro writing. The safety in these cards is the fact that an eventual reproduction of the card it should pass across sophisticated machinery that cannot be found in small industries. Not even a very talented and capable craftsman can do it. Besides, not possessing the original file, becomes impossible to reproduce it in very faithful manner.

Another solution is to inser a metal logo in a specific area of the PVC card or batsh or pass:

we can also insert in the card some very small string in silver or gold color that can be seen only with 12x lens.

The prices for those PVC cards are based on quantity. Approximately 5000 cards will cost 20.00 baht each card. Those cards will come out preprint and will allowed you and your PVC card printer to print on it again, maybe just the name or the pictures or other details. It is possible to order preprint cards with a sequential number or bar code on it without extra cost.

Electronic PVC cards

Electronic PVC cards are the cards where the number or name (the information) is inside an electronic device (magnetic stripe -Magstripe- like in the most of the credit card, or in a chip) that can be read electronically. The number can also be printed on the PVC card as a barcode or as a number. I want anyway to remind you that a barcode can be easily read from an elegant bar code reader that looks like a magnetic stripe reader.

PVC card printer Magicard can be purchase in the model with the magnetic stripe encoder (ISO 7811), obviously the PVC card must have the magnetic stripe. Beside the magnetic stripe the number can be stored in a invisible chip readable for contact or proximity. This way is popular in Asia for open the common door of condominium. These cards will be produced all with an already memorized number like HIP 0008884192 135.36832 (sequential, not all the same). This number will be insert in you system and the card will be ready to be used, also as a staff batch. The price is 50.00 baht each card. Another kind of chip is the proximity Mifair (13.56Mhz), also invisible on the card, for the proximity or smartcard or contact less card. In this chip the number can be also written from the Magicard printer for PVC card, when supplied with that encoder. From the outside the cards all look like the same, white plane smooth plastic PVC and not anymore like the old type that were thick and with sloped border all around.
